If you’re primarily looking for a designer, then I might not be the right person for you. But if you’d like someone who’s a jack of all marketing trades and master of some, then maybe I am. To be clear, I’m no Van Gogh. But I can sure contribute in a pinch. And if nothing else, I at least share the common vernacular and values of designers and printers.

Event Coordination & Planning
I was charged with keeping COMPUtek Dental Systems’ tradeshow calendar, and prioritizing our attendance at events. I handled paperwork, and learned the art of negotiating for favorable booth placement. Whenever possible, we partnered with a business partner to cut down on costs, which simplified some things and complicated others.

And the time I’ve spent doing communications work with small businesses has reinforced some basic principles, like knowing your stuff and building relationships. I’ve worked a bit with Sugar CRM, an open source Salesforce.com competitor, and I understand the importance of keeping track of my work.
